A whole month of no sewing (craaaaaazy!), no blogging but way too much non-stop studying.
Finally. Exams are over, all deadlines met and I have (at least part of) my life back. After four weeks of not having the chance to discharge all my creative energy I’m loaded with ideas. And guess what? Yes, I started sewing right away.
But not before relaxing a bit in Regent’s Park which is so damn pretty right now. Here are some impressions of the park and a sneak peek at what’s coming up:
I finally picked up my copy of Sewing Vintage ModernΒ and drafted the bodice pattern for a fitted bustier dress. The instructions were really simple and the muslin fits perfectly. However, I won’t sew the dress from the book but will be a bit more creative than that π
It’s gonna be the first time I will use polyester boning. Pretty exciting π
So, what have you been up to in the last four weeks? Did I miss anything exciting?
Woohoo! Glad you’re back! Nope, nothin’ new:)
Yeah, me too! I’ve missed the blogging world.:)
Nothing new here either, except work, work, work. Darn, what happened to spring frolicking?
Can’t wait to see the dress, it looks really complicated (to a totally untrained here like mine, ha ha)!
Work…had too much of this the last few weeks and even more to come, but sewing breaks every now ans then are awesome π Wasn’t too complicated, really. The instructions in the book are so easy it almost felt a bit like geometry class π
Welcome back!
What lovely photos. I’m in Regent’s Park one day a week for a gardening course and I have been really, really enjoying all the amazing flowers there these past few weeks. Not the mention the sunshine to view them in!
Wow I didn’t know they had classes! I live right next to the park and I’m amazed every single time I go there. One of the prettiest parks i know!
